7 Free Lessons from the Teachers of The Secret

So called Pay-Per-Click Spy Programs have become the new Internet marketing hype over the last couple of weeks and months. Programs like “Undercover Profits”, “Google Cash Detective”, “Xray Domination” and the most recently released “Affiliate Elite”, to name only the most popular ones, promise every buyer to lead them to “PPC heaven” by allegedly providing them with exactly the information needed to launch successful PPC campaigns for the products they promote.

What do these programs actually do?

Until recently the daily bread of an affiliate marketer promoting his products by PPC advertising consisted of 6 steps:

1) Selecting a potentially profitable product

2) Creating a Landing Page

3) Finding the best Keywords for his PPC campaign

4) Writing good ad copy and launching his PPC campaign

5) Testing, testing, testing and tweaking 2), 3) and 4) to optimize the campaign for maximum profits.

6) Once done, letting the campaign run and raking in the profits

Most successful PPC marketers will agree that step 5) can be very time intensive and require a lot of work and sometimes upfront investment. It can take days if not weeks to weed out the unprofitable keywords and leave the ones which make money, to split test different versions of ad copy until the CTR has reached acceptable and better ranges and to tweak the Landing Page for maximum conversion rates.

PPC Spy Programs claim to provide a shortcut and saving a user step 5) almost entirely. By spying on the advertiser competition they could deliver all the information needed to build a profitable campaign from scratch.

How?

There may be variations in features but in essence the basic functions of these programs are the same. The user types in a certain keyword phrase, the program queries search engine data bases and returns data on what ads are displayed to this phrase, what affiliate products are promoted by these ads, on what other keywords these ads appear and the bid prices.

The crucial point is that the user has to repeat this exact research steps for a certain time period, let’s say, daily for 20 or 30 days.

At the end of that period the program lists for each ad how often it had been displayed. If an ad had appeared on 100% of the time or a little less, it is assumed that this ad would make it’s advertiser money, i.e. is profitable. Ads popping up a few times and then disappearing are assumed to lose money.

Using these data the user only has to copy keyword lists, ad text and landing page (some instructions recommend minor changes to avoid being accused as plagiarist), launch his own campaign bidding slightly more than the competitor and should run into profit from the start because all the testing and tweaking has been done for him by the spied out advertiser.

Sounds good but without even mentioning the disputable morale of such activity there are some very real points which could make the confiding users of such programs fail miserably and leave them with a considerable loss of not only several hundred dollars for the program but also wasted PPC investment.

1) There is no guarantee that an ad which runs over the entire research period is actually profitable. The advertiser might be one of those which do not monitor their campaigns closely and let them run for days without noticing that he runs into losses. Not likely but happens more often than one would think.

2) The strategy usually encompasses to outbid the advertiser, who's campaign is copied, to guarantee a higher ranking. Higher bid prices might very well render the campaign unprofitable.

3) More importantly, a profitable campaign might not be profitable anymore if a second player running an almost identical campaign shows up. Even more so when exactly this minor changes the copycat introduces in order to avoid plain plagiarism cause a lower CTR and conversion rate. There are examples that a minute change of only placing a comma where there was none before, doubled the CTR. So if a little alteration can double it another could as well cut it down, couldn’t it? You never no unless you test and then you are back to the usual PPC game and wouldn’t need the Spy Program.

As a conclusion: These programs might have their value for experienced PPC advertisers and therefore I recommend one of them in the Internet Marketing Dictionary (mainly because it has other valuable features, too). But they are definitely no surefire tools for newbies to skip the learning curve and let them make the big buck with PPC advertising from campaign #1 on. If they rely only on them and are not willing to learn they will still be up for losses.

How to Set Up a Daily To Do List for your business

A to-do list is one thing no business owner should start their day without. Planning is crucial to your business success and the better prepared you are for each day, the more you'll accomplish.

How many times have you started a to do list only to leave it laying around incomplete and never to look at it again, at least not until you find it buried under the 30 other to-do lists you never finished?

To do lists are a business owner's best friend and here are a few tips for making the most of your own.

1. Create your list before your day gets started. You can do this at the end of the previous day or first thing each day, but don't start on anything until you've created your list.

2. Prioritize items on your list. Sometimes putting tasks in order of importance isn't an easy task, so first just jot down everything you know you need to do and then go back over and number each item, starting with 1, in order of priority.

3. Follow your list in order. Once you have your list prioritized don't devate from that list by jumping around to things further down the list until the tasks above are complete.

4. Allow for changes. Don't get down on yourself if something pops up in your day that you have to incorporate into your list. Simply, add it, do it and then keep moving down your original list.

5. Mark items complete. By checking off items on your list as you complete them you will see yourself making progress and at the end of the day you will feel a sense of accomplishment. Even if you don't complete everything on your list, it's ok you can still look back and say "I DID get this done today!"

6. Be reasonable. You know there are only so many hours in a day, so don't overload your list with tasks that you know good and well will take more time than you have available.

7. Be as detailed as possible. Don't overload your list, but also don't forget the smaller tasks throughout the day that will take time away from other bigger duties.

8. Keep your to-list in sight at all times. By keeping your list out from under papers, books, etc. it will be a reminder that you have a plan and that plan is going to help you move forward with your business.

9. Throw it away at the end of the day. At the end of each day, transfer any unfinished tasks to the next day's to-do list and throw the current day's list in the garbage can. Seeing multiple incomplete to-do lists lying around all the time is not good on your self-esteem, so say sayonara at the end of everyday.

You'll also give yourself a well deserved boost each time you can cross off something on your to-do list and feel much more organized.

Goodluck! :)

Who Are Your Subscribers?

You hear a lot about email marketing from the people who send out the emails but just who are the people who are on the receiving end of this electronic bombardment?

Who are your subcribers?

There are basically four types

- professionals

- the "faithful"

- the unsubscribers

- desperate newbies

The professionals are the successful marketers who subscribe to dozens, sometimes scores, of lists purely as research. They are looking for that killer headline or new email marketing strategy that they can add to their swipe file. They will use anything that they think will give them an edge over the competition.

The professionals often subscribe to each other's lists just to keep their finger on the pulse of what is happening in the internet marketing field.

The other thing to note about the professionals is that they don't buy in the same way as other people. They might go through the sales process just to see how it is handled. It is not just the end product they are after - they want to observe the process. Again, research, though more expensive research than just signing up to a list and checking your emails every day.

The "faithful" are those who sign up to very few lists or who have whittled down their subscriptions to just a few trusted marketers.

They elevate their chosen guru to almost messiah status. Their hero (or heroine) can do no wrong. They hold the key to the internet marketing kingdom. The "faithful" buy on command. The faithful are very helpful to the bottom line.

The unsubscribers are the group most internet marketers don't like but view as a necessary evil. Somewhere among their ranks are a few buyers.

Unsubscribers are attracted to freebies like bees to honey. They sign up, get their promotional gift, then hit the unsubscribe button. The problem is, sometimes they forget to unsubscribe and when the follow up email arrives they cry "spam" and report you. Double optin is your best defence against absent minded unsubscribers.

Finally, we come to desperate newbies. They can also be one of the "faithful" and/or an unsubscriber. They make up the vast majority

of subscribers. Often they want to buy but don't have the funds. That is why they are desperate.

But desperation also does something to the chemistry of their brains. It tells them that your offer is THE one that will finally save their bacon (until the next email, of course).

This is what email marketing is all about - keeping those chemicals bubbling away long enough for the subscriber to hit the buy button.

Martin Luxton used to be a desperate newbie, grew disillusioned with being one of the "faithful" and is now trying to create a new category of subscriber - the professional newbie.

There are many affordable web hosting packages available today. How do you decide which one is right for you? Even when the price is important, you should never buy your package based on this factor alone. Remember the old adage "You get what you pay for".

If you know what to look for when shopping for a cheap web hosting package, getting the right one for your needs is easy. Just make sure to check out the following:

1. Disk space and bandwidth limits

Some packages offer very limited amount of disk space and low traffic volume. The hosting company will charge you extra for additional disk space and bandwidth. Even if your website is small at the moment, you will need some extra space to allow for its future growth.

2. Included domain name

Unless you already have one, you will need a domain name for your website. The domain name can cost you between $6 and $30 a year depending on the registrar. If you decide to use private registration to hide your personal data in the domain names registry you will have to pay around $20 a year on top of the regular registration fee.

3. Included email accounts and mailbox size

Most web hosting companies offer email as a part of their packages. If you need to have email in yours, decide how many addresses you will need. Make sure that the package you are getting provides enough email addresses and adequate mailbox capacity.

4. FTP access

You will need to upload different files to your website. Check whether you will have an FTP access to your server - some companies will only provide a web browser-based file upload tool. It's always better to have more than one way of transferring files to your server.

5. Dynamic scripts support

If you will have anything other than simple HTML pages on your website, you will need you web server to support dynamic scripts such as PHP, CGI or Perl.

6. Technical support

You need to have access to tech support whenever you require it. A good hosting company will provide you with 24/7 phone and email support even for the smallest packages.

7. How to close your account

If you are not satisfied with your package, you should be able to close your account within reasonable period of time - at least 30 days - and get full refund. Make sure your web host provides this option.

Now you know how to select the hosting package that won't disappoint you.

PLR is everywhere. These days, aspiring internet marketers can hardly turn anywhere without seeing an offer for a Private Label Rights product.

The success stories are legendary.

And they are very appealing to many ambitious online marketers.

However, they often lack the necessary details. Certainly you can quickly assemble the basics of what is involved in creating your own PLR products. In fact, let's go through that right now.

THE PLR "FORMULA"

At its simplest, the PLR profit formula looks like this:

1, Get hold of the private label rights to an ebook or some other digital (downloadable) product. This will allow you to rework the material any way you wish.

Make sure you have the necessary rights to PLR the product! If you get that wrong, you could find yourself in a mighty uncomfortable place because authors dont take kindly to having their copyrighted stuff ripped off.

2, Give the product a makeover and sell it for fast easy profit. Why easy? - because you have not had to research the topic and you havent had to write a thing. Why fast? - because you can even outsource much of the makeover work if you want to.

3, Add fresh graphics. One or two new images will beef up the impact of the existing sales letter and therefore help you sell more copies.

4, Alternatively you can give the site a complete new look rather than just freshen it up. Rewrite the headlines, change the base font, highlight the sales-motivating text, etc. These are fairly standard prescriptions for a successful makeover. But there's more you can do.

5, Marketing. One of the keys to making worthwhile money from your re-versioning work is to get it out to the thousands of potential customers. And there are various ways to do that - through your own mailing list, through the joint venture sites, through niche-related forums, through articles released via online article banks such as EzineArticles and GoArticles. But again, there's more you can do.

What we've just talked about is basic. It's foundational. But there are traps to avoid, and more importantly there are tactics and resources which can help you way beyond what I've just outlined here.

Consider this: If you want average success, you might achieve it by following the steps above. Or you might not, in which case all your efforts would have been wasted. Plus you'd be disheartened and may not try again.

So let's ask:

Is there a better way to get your share of PLR profits?

Is there a way to improve the odds of you personally having an exciting success with your first PLR adventure? There sure is. The key is to get training from an acknowledged expert.

STAND ON THE SHOULDERS OF GIANTS

Michael Ambrosio used to be struggling - like most newcomers to internet business. But something happened to change that for Mike. He figured out how to turn PLR products into internet money machines.

This young family man (he's got four kids) has released what he calls "Easy Product Profits". In this well-written 69-page PDF report, Mike gives a detailed description of his PLR formula. Step by step, he takes you through the whole process. From the idea stage, all the way through product development to the first $4265 from this one project… then Mike explains how he turbo-boosted the product revenue up to an astonishing $13,605 in 30 days.

Easy Product Profits is an attractively presented, easy-to-read report in PDF format. More importantly, it will provide you with the details, techniques and resources that Mike uses to generate his significant PLR profits. Better still, this "how to do PLR right" manual has a bargain basement price tag. It's exceptional value from a generous guy who is trying to help others succeed too.

If you've ever wanted to get into the PLR game but didnt know how to, this is just what you've been needing.

SUMMARY

In "Easy Product Profits", you will discover powerful secrets that you can use to make your own product, package it, promote it and profit… again and again. Download it now: Easy Product Profits

Many individuals around the world have a seriously difficult time with writing. However, most people simply underestimate themselves when it comes to writing. If an individual has an idea, and can get past the title, then past the first sentence, they areSu likely to experience success when it comes to composing the projects that they desire to complete. Successful writing is a process. The process must be broke down into small pieces. This is a technique that successful writers use on a daily basis. Here, you will discover the successful strategies for writing an eBook.

Before sitting down to write your eBook, it is important to understand that it is not something that someone can just jump right into. Just as with basic, everyday projects, writing is a project. There are certain steps involved in project management tasks. The first step is successful planning and organizing. There are many things that you must plan and organize when it comes to composing an eBook. They are as follows:

• You must first decide on a subject for your eBook. This should be a general topic when you first start out. Once you have a general topic, you can then create subtopics that will help organize your topic into more specific categories.

• Once you have established a topic, you should then develop some effective titles that you can use. It is important to understand that one title may not be possible at the beginning of a project. Many individuals come up with several different titles in the beginning and then select one as they are composing the eBook.

• The next thing that you should consider is the problem that you will be discussing in your eBook. For example, you may be approaching the issue of “socialization in the homeschool classroom”. Your eBook should approach this problem, and then immediately follow with an effective resolution. In this particular example, you are likely to have a wide variety of resolutions for the reader. This is fine too. However, these should be developed before you actually compose the eBook.

• Many individuals will create the topic titles for the chapters that they write in their eBook at the same time that they develop resolutions to the problem that they are writing about. This is because many choose to name the chapters after the list of resolutions that they outline. This is often an effective means of carefully composing your eBook.

• You should ensure that when you write your eBook that you contain high-quality and enriching content that can benefit the lives of your readers. This will ensure that your readers actually gain something from reading the material that you offer. If your readers walk away with absolutely no type of information whatsoever, all of the hard work and dedication that you have placed into the project is absolutely useless. If you want ideas on how to create effective content that can benefit your readers, you can refer to the website link that will be included at the end of this article.

• When writing the information for your eBook, it is imperative that you ensure that create content that can grab a reader’s attention and keep the attention. Many eBook writers write in a light and friendly tone. Upbeat writing tends to capture the attention of an audience. This conversational and upbeat tone is likely to really draw your readers in.

• You should always set goals when you want to write an eBook It is much better to write one page a day then it is to commit to writing the whole eBook in a day. This will ensure that the content is kept fresh and that you do not become too overwhelmed by the project. Pace yourself, and then the ideas will flow more naturally.

• There are many online resources where you can learn about writing. It is important that you constantly ensure that you learn as much as you can about writing, gathering ideas, and more. This will assist you in many different ways when it comes to composing your eBook.

• When creating your eBook, it is absolutely essential that you ensure to save your work frequently. This will help to protect against accidents that may happen. There is nothing more frustrating then writing a page in your eBook and then losing it because your power goes off.

• It is important to ensure that you use organization when you are writing. Using numbered lists and bullet points is a wonderful way to make many points at once without losing the attention of the reader.

• Once your eBook is composed, you should ensure that you run a spell and grammar check on it. Being free from errors is an essential.

• Once the document has been checked, you are free to choose a design for your eBook.

• Once you have your eBook composed, you should then create a page dedicated to resource information. This should include all resources that you used, a little bit about yourself, as well as a URL that links to your website.

Once completing all of these steps, your article is composed and ready to go!

Affiliate programs are an excellent way to start making money online with very little finacial output in the beginning. Think about it for a minute, You find a product or service that you think will be in great demand and you simply sign up to their affiliate program.

In an instant you recieve a confirmation email with your affiliate log in details. You proceed to log in and see the commission structures that you will get for every sale, free marketing tools such as, email letters, banners, graphics and than you will see your affiliate link. By simply clicking on this link you see that you get an instant sales page to start earning profits. If it is such a sound business model, than why do so many affiliates fail to ever earn a dime online?

Simple, they lack the proper marketing tools to set their business up for success. Just what are these tolls? Let's take a look at the most vital tools that you must own to become a successful affiliate:

You Have To Have A Website

You would be surprised to know that many affiliates will just advertise their sales page and expect to see money come rolling in. The successful affiliate knows that most sales will not happen on the first visit and that is why you need a main website, so that you can supply them with content that they crave. This will keep them comming back for more on regular basis. They are looking for your information and expertise to help them.

You Need A Autoresponder

As I just mentioned most sales are not made on the first visit, so you need a way to capture your visitors email addresses so that you can follow up with them and increase your affiliate sales. Email marketing is one of the most effective forms of advertising online.

There are many autoresponder services out there, but Aweber, Getresponse and Prosender are the best. Yes you will have to budget for it. An autoresponder account will set you back anywhere from $10 to $30 monthly. To avoid monthly costs there are autoresponder scripts that you can install on your webhosting. These scripts cost more but will pay for themselves in a short amount of time.

A Weekly Newsletter

I am classifying a newsletter as a tool, because of it's effectiveness at increasing your sales as an affiliate. By starting your own weekly newsletter or Ezine and incorporating it with your autorseponder, you will start to see a huge increase in your affiliate program sales. Why do all famous internet marketers use this form of follow up? By sending newsletters to their subscribers they are gaining trust and being viewed as experts in their field.

What should you send in your newsletters? Information plain and simple. Any information that you feel your subscribers want and need to learn about. In time they will thank you for the information by purchasing from you and you will be able to send them special recommendations and make money at will.

By having these three tools in your arsenal you will see more sign ups to your affiliate program and more commissions from product sales.

This article is brief and to the point. All fluff has been removed out of respect for the frustrated. Take it from my personal experience, which I am willing to share; because I know how hard it is when trying to crack the money code.

I tried everything possible to make money online and I had some success but I didn’t experience the kind of success that I read or heard about until I changed my approach.

First, I stopped using static websites. I incorporated all the functionality of using a blog platform as my website. I loaded the files onto my server (root directory) as the website. This is key because using this method you can tap into what is called Web 2.0.

There are many good platforms but I use Wordpress because of the ease of use and the many free plugins that add enhancements to my system. These enhancements are what give this system the power punch to get more exposure and more traffic and ultimately more money.

Secondly, I create what I call Niche Blog Networks. I focus on a specific niche topic and cater to this information on my blog. The power is incredible. I have rolled out over 20 of these blogs and each one generates a nice little monthly income. Can you say multiple streams of income?

For example, I may have a blog dedicated to debt repair online. I’ll add some articles related to this topic as pages and then I’ll post news and stories that I find on the internet. I use this as my content. Since the plugins I have installed help me generate exposure, all I have to do is hit “publish” and search engines will be pinged (notified) of this new content. This helps generate traffic.

Now, I’m sure you’ve heard something about this technique before but not everybody knows exactly what to do from a back-office perspective to put your blog on steroids. That is where the true power comes in.

Finally, you have to properly monetize your site to convert the traffic as it arrives. Your goal in this process is to provide relevant information with relevant products to sell to these visitors that are looking this information or solutions.

When monetizing the website/blog, I prefer to use a site like Clickbank to find products to sell because the commission payouts are generally hiring than other affiliate programs, however it really doesn’t matter which service you use as long as they provide quality products.

In summary, if you want to make money online you need to harness the power of web 2.0 and allow your technology to work for you. Setting up a website that uses all of the functionality of an effective CMS (content management system) will allow you to not only deliver content that your niche wants but you’ll be able to earn from this method as well.

One common question among Internet Marketing beginners is this:

"I've created my own digital product. How do I deliver it to buyers through an automatic download and start my own Affiliate program?"

Relax! The good news is that delivering a product and starting an Affiliate program are not complicated tasks. Scripts that meet your needs are inexpensive and easy to install.

One of the first things to look for when selecting a script is flexibility. Your script will need to work with a payment processor such as PayPal. And your customers will need to be confident that they'll receive their order.

At the same time, you'll need to be confident that you'll receive instant payment for your product and that your Affiliates also will get paid.

Scripts take manual labor out of the equation. If you're selling a digital download, for example, a script can route customers through the purchasing process — from payment to product delivery.

One of the easiest and least expensive ways to deliver your digital product and start an Affiliate program is $7 Secrets.

It's an affiliate script authored by Jonathan Leger, who later sold the company to Don Morris. Seven Dollar Secrets enables even beginners to get paid immediately via PayPal and deliver products to customers automatically.

And because $7 Secrets permits users to create their own Affiliate programs and makes it possible for Affiliates to get paid instantly, it's something Internet Marketers should consider.

Users of Seven Dollar Secrets receive templates to help them build their sales operation. Internet Marketers can use the salesletter template to create their main sales page, taking care to put their own "unique stamp" on it.

It's best always to create a signature look and not to give customers the sensation they're viewing a template.

The $7 Secrets affiliate script walks customers through the purchasing process. They'll order through PayPal and be taken automatically to the download page to receive their product.

What makes this possible is the $7 Secrets script interacting with the included templates. Customers who love your product and are interested in selling it easily can become Affilites.

They can create their own sales site virtually instantly and start getting paid immediately for their sales.

Accounting is not a nightmare for the program sponsor. Because Affiliates get paid directly into their PayPal accounts, no Affiliate money passes through the sponsor's PayPal account.

Affiliates, in effect, become owners of their own small businesses. They're selling the branded product offered by the program owner.

Another script that helps Internet Marketers deliver products automatically and create their own Affiliate programs is Rapid Action Profits.

Rapid Action Profits sometimes is referred to simply as RAP. It's by programmer Sid Hale.

RAP has all the convenience of $7 Secrets. It functions effectively the same way, but offers features that distinguish it.

Rapid Action Profits, for example, enables users to create a site for potential Joint Venture (JV) partners. And there's also an area where users can provide additional sales tools for JV partners and Affiliates.

It's best to use your imagination when offering Affiliate tools. They can be something simple — a suggested email for Affiliates to send to their customer list, for example.

Or the tools might include something such as a Peel Away Ad to help Affiliates grab readers' attention when they visit the website.

Like $7 Secrets, RAP includes templates for the individual pages that appear throughout the sales process. Don't forget to customize!

Script templates are a wonderful thing — but they're templates, after all. You'll get better results if you "make them your own" by including your branding message.

If you've been asking this question — "How do I set up a joint venture using a script? — Rapid Action Profits provides the answer.

With advances in technology, it's never been easier to deliver a digital product, get paid instantly and set up a program for Affiliates also to get paid immediately.

Create your product — and use a script to deliver it and set up your Affiliate program!

Making and taking paid online surveys is a large and growing business on the Internet. There are literally thousands of new surveys being made weekly. Each and every month, many tens of thousands of survey participants are receiving deposits into their PayPal accounts or are getting checks in their mail boxes for their having participated in paid surveys.

So how can you join in this lucrative activity and start getting YOUR checks in the mail?

All you need to do is to get your applications on file with a large number of good survey makers so they can invite you to take one or more of their surveys. You want good survey makers that only make legitimate paid online surveys, those that pay reasonably well and pay on time, and that respect your privacy.

Unfortunately this is harder to do than it should be. From the point of view of survey participants, only something like 20-25% of all survey makers pay well and are really worth dealing with. The rest (75-80%) try to squeeze survey participants by paying as little as they possibly can. These will just waste your time.

The 20% of survey makers that pay well have little turnover and rarely advertise. The 75-80% no-pay/low-pay survey makers all have attrition, high dropout rates and must constantly recruit. They pay high recruiting fees to affiliates who recruit for them, offering "free lists" on the Net.

It's best to deal with one of the better paid sites to get your list. Paid survey site reviews can help you compare and find a good one.

You can get good information about how this works at: How It Works

The best way to get a good list of good survey makers is from a paid survey site. There are close to 200 of these membership sites that maintain lists for their members. For a small, generally one-time membership fee you can join and get access to a copy of their current list.

To select a good paid survey site, first look for those with a good, strong money-back guarantee, which is backed by a bank or by a financial company like PayPal, ClickBank or similar. There are 70 or more that will qualify.

From this group, choose one with a low (in the 3-6% range) refund rate to their clients. Avoid all with unknown refund rates or with refund rates of as much as 9 to 10% or more.

To see reviews of the top 20 paid survey sites, including their recent refund rate histories, visit: Current Rankings

When you have chosen your paid survey site and gotten your copy of their list, sign up with each and every one of the survey makers that are on that list. The more survey makers that have your data on file, the more money you'll make. This means you should sign up with at least 200 survey makers.

So how much money will you make? It depends on your diligence, your demographics and the number of good survey makers that have your info on file. That said, most reasonably diligent survey takers report incomes of $200 to $600 a month. Many report monthly incomes of $1,000 or more.

How to Find Super Affiliates for your Online Business

Do You Have Super Affiliates? ( How to Find Super Affiliates for your Online business)

In researching affiliate marketing, you have probably come across the term “super affiliate.” Many affiliate managers spend a lot of time trying to recruit super affiliates and for good reason. A super affiliate can turn just about any affiliate program into a success.

A super affiliate, simply put, is someone who can generate a lot of sales. Some people feel that an affiliate needs to make a certain dollar amount in sales before they are considered “super.” It is hard to define this term in dollar amounts as different programs have different amounts as well as different types of programs. Not only that, but program owners have different definitions of success in their particular affiliate program compared to others.

Finding super affiliates is easier than most think. In fact, you may already know of several yourself. Super affiliates tend to have large sites, large newsletter lists, and a nice amount of influence over their target markets. It doesn't take much thinking to know at least one affiliate who fits these definitions.

If however, it comes a bit more difficult in a particular market, it's easy to find a few of them. Simply research a bit. Google can really help with this; just type in keyword or phrase that relates to the product or target market in question. For example, if you are selling an information product on natural remedies, type in such phrases as “natural remedies, “natural cures,” and “homeopathic medicine.”

Take note of the websites that are coming up in your search results. If the same site is coming up over and over, it is probably very popular. Even if different sites are coming up, click on them, and take a look around. Look for signs of affiliate activity, such as ads, reviews, and affiliate links.

Once you have located some affiliates that seem a good fit for your particular program it is time to start the recruiting process. Take note that these people are receiving offers from many other affiliate managers. If you want them to promote your product, you’ll need to make it worth their time.

First of all, make sure your product is something that their target market would honestly want or need. When you make your initial contact with the affiliate, make it personable. Instead of sending a standard form letter, take the time to send a personalized note. Try to keep that first email short and sweet, though, as the affiliate doesn’t have time to read anything super long.

When promoting a digital product, send a sample along with the introductory email. The affiliate will want to try it out before they promote it to their readers. If you have a physical product, offer to send a sample in the mail. This will help to determine if the product is a good fit for their visitors.

Entice the super affiliate by offering them something more than standard affiliates receive, such as extra commission or cash bonuses. For example, if you normally pay 50% commissions, offer 60% or 70% to the super affiliate. The amount of sales they can bring you will more than make up for any extra commissions you give them. Another option is to offer them a second tier percentage, where they receive a commission for referring other affiliates to the program.

It can take time to build up a relationship with a super affiliate and get them involved in a program. It may take time to find them, but keep trying. Eventually you will recruit a super affiliate and maybe more!
